Improvement Opportunity Within Education:

One problem that I have run across throughout my educational journey is the lack of real world experience that students get. I can only really speak for the science and research side of schooling. However, in my experience, getting a job in this field is heavily reliant on years of experience and I think that in attending college for 4+ years there should be more experiences that help us qualify for the future jobs in these fields. The academic side is solid and I feel I have learned a lot over the years. I think we could still benefit largely from more experience in the field throughout our education journey.

How does real world research experience within education better prepare students for future careers? I would aim my research on scientific fields mostly with a large sample size within a couple different colleges. I would also need to be able to collect data of the students we would be analyzing while they attend college to know how much real-world experience they received and data on how their experience was finding a job in the field post graduation.
